According to Ace Showbiz, Morgan Spurlock will be directing the first music movie of the famous boy band One direction. It will be co-produced by Simon Cowell.
"We are going to do our first-ever movie and it's going to be in 3D and it's coming to cinemas near you on the 30th of August, 2013," said Niall Horan in the announcement made in Today.
The movie will be based on the band's famous song 'What Makes You Beautiful'. The 3D movie will be developed by Sony Pictures to include the five members, to name: Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
The semi-documentary music movie will center on some concert footages with some glimpses on the stories of the five One Direction members. Morgan Spurlock has directed other semi-documentary movies like 'Super Size Me'.
"I'm delighted we're making this film and Morgan is the perfect person to give that access-all-areas, behind-the-scenes look into what it's like to be One Direction today. What the band have achieved is incredible, they and their fans have made history around the world - this is for them," said Simon Cowell on the progress of the One Direction movie.
