The expected release of the gaming tablet will be next year, just few months ahead of the Xbox game console. The Microsoft Surface Xbox, as it is named by tech speculators, prides in its ARM processor and high bandwidth RAM, solely intended for gaming purposes.
The expected launch of the Microsoft Surface Xbox will compete heavily on the Nintendo Wii U, which will be launched on November 18. Wii U boosts its tablet-like controller. On the other hand, Sony is working on integrating its Vita game machine into the Playstation 3.
Microsoft Windows 8 and the Surface tablets already have the SmartGlass app, which serves as remote control for the Xbox gaming console.
If rumors are true, the new 7-inch gaming tablet will have four traditional gaming remote controls to give massive changes on the experience of users.
The past has seen how games are integrated into tablets. Casual games like Angry Birds, Plants Vs Zombies are usually added to tablets.
Microsoft has not given a confirmation or clarification of The Verge report.
