According to PC Mag, to better integrate social media users, Twitter has added a feature to allow users to directly send tweets to those who haven't even used Twitter.

Twitter has eclipsed the power of Facebook in reaching more people and in communication, even if Facebook has more users. But to better the social media network, Twitter also boosts its Apple and Android smartphones capability.

In this new feature, you don't have to send your tweets through your email address. Twitter can now send tweets to others email using the Twitter account, and not disclosing the person's email address.

A blogpost of a Twitter engineer said: "You can email a Tweet to anyone, whether they use Twitter or not, right from your Twitter stream or from the details view of any Tweet. You can add your own comment, and we'll send an email with your comment and the Tweet together. Just like that."

With the new feature, Twitter is optimistic in increasing its users base of 500 million accounts and topple the lead of Facebook's 1 billion users. On Twitter mobile, shared pictures can now be directly seen and commented on by users.
