The Notebook: Ryan Gosling & Rachel McAdams
Before they made the made the magical chemistry in the movie The Notebook, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams first hated each other. Ryan Gosling landed the role when he was handpicked by filmmaker Nicholas Cassavetes to star as Noah in the romantic drama in 2004. On the other hand, Rachel McAdams landed the role after her mesmerizing audition. After the film, the two stars dated for nearly three years.

However, before the success of The Notebook and their sweet real life love affair, Ryan and Rachel hated each other big time during the filming of the movie. During the interview with VH1, Cassavetes revealed that there was a time that Gosling wanted Rachel out of the set. Gosling called Cassavetes attention to get rid of McAdams and replace her with another actress because he couldn't stand working with her.

Cassavetes recalled that they went into the room with another producer. Gosling and McAdams were screaming at each other. And they left them that way. They just waited outside until the two went out and told him that they will do the filming.

Cassavetes noted that after the incident everything went well after that. McAdams was really up to standing to her character and she was happy doing that, while Gosling respected McAdams for that.

Aside from The Notebook's Gosling and McAdams hate with each other, other notable less chemistry in filming was with Leondardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes for Rome and Juliet. It was said that when the camera was not rolling, Danes and DiCaprio won't talk with each other.
