According to The Guardian, Binyamin Netanyahu, the current prime minister of Israel declared that the Jewish nation is ready to expand its Gaza offensive as the bombardment in the region reached fifth day.

From Wednesday, the day of the conflict, there are now 50 Palestinian people killed by the offensive. The sustained bombing last night resulted to seven civilian deaths, with five children.

The Gaza Strip prepares for more bombing and offensive from Israel as it tries to flatten the headquarter of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Heaps of rubles and destroyed glasses or metals scattered across the place, which was supposed to be the former headquarter of Haniyeh.

Although, Israel opened Kerem Shalom to allow medical supplies and other aids, it also enlisted 75, 000 reservists for the progressive expansion of the offense. Leaders of Egypt, Cairo, Turkey and Qatar have already met up to discuss ways on peacefully ending the escalating regional war.

"The only way we can achieve peace and security is to create real deterrence via a crushing response that will make sure they don't try to test us again," said Israel's hardline foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman.

"This isn't an all-out war but an operation with defined goals. If a ground invasion were authorised Israel would have to see it through. This wasn't done during Operation Cast Lead [the 22-day war four years ago], which is why we failed to achieve our goal."

Rafik Abdesslem, Tunisian foreign minister, denounced the attack of Israel and called it against international laws and treaties.

With the hope of ending the war, leaders of the region are going to met in Cairo together with Hamas leaders.

"There are some indications that there is a possibility of a ceasefire soon, but we do not yet have firm guarantees," Mohamed Morsi, Turkey's prime minister said.
